The MAK Historic District (McDonough-Adams-Kings Highway)  is the City of Decatur's first local historic district. The MAK Historic District encompasses ten city blocks. It includes the properties on MAK and the properties located on the intersecting streets north of Oakview Road and south of College Avenue.  Many of the homes were designed by Leila Ross Wilburn, an Agnes Scott Alumnus and one of Georgia's first female architects.
